ALGON Eyes Partnership with YBTFDWI for Youth Development

The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) is exploring a strategic partnership with the Youth Back to Farm Development Workgroup (YBTFDW) to advance youth development and agricultural innovation across Nigeria.
During a courtesy visit to the ALGON Headquarters in Abuja, ALGON’s General Manager, Evan Enikwe, received the YBTFDW delegation, led by Director General Hon. Ahmad Abubakar Baba, FCAI. Discussions focused on YBTFDW’s bold initiative to empower 10 million Nigerian youths by 2030 through precision, smart, and soilless agriculture.
ALGON commended the vision and expressed strong interest in collaborating to support and scale this transformative mission. The meeting marks a significant step toward strengthening youth engagement and sustainable agriculture in Nigeria.
